Why hello, and happy Wednesday! Did I mention that you look pretty today? Today I’m thinking (daydreaming) about Spring fashion… specifically dresses. I mostly live in dresses because they are so easy and make me feel feminine and put together with just a little effort.
Click on the little boxes to see the dresses that I’m loving right now – (and the green satchel by The Cambridge Satchel Company). I love love love these Modcloth dresses, but I’ve yet to take the plunge in buying any from the US since its quite the committment, especially if I don’t like it!
What’s your favourite look? And what clothes are you looking forward to busting out for Spring? I can’t wait to start going bare-legged again – I’m so bored of tights! Fingers crossed for a warm Summer!

I LOVE modcloth dresses but I also haven’t bought anything from them. I was a bit surprised at Christmas because my mum (in Australia) ordered me two hats off their website and had them shipped directly to me in Edinburgh. When they arrived the UPS guy made me pay a 20 quid charge, which once you consider the price of the hats and shipping would’ve made them very expensive! I don’t understand why I had to pay extra – is it a weird UK tax thing?
That’s annoying! It’s customs taxes which is another risk of shopping with them unfortunately!
does this happen with buying anything from outside the UK?
I think it depends on how much it costs, and if the sender marks it as a gift you’re exempt, most ebay sellers will do that but not companies. Take a look here http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/tax-and-duty.htm
Love the red one and black polka-dot one in the middle
I’ve only bought from Mod Cloth once and wasn’t disappointed but I totally understand your hesitation.
I’m with you, bare legs and little dresses. I’m so tired of layering to keep warm. I just want to jump into a LBD, throw a cardigan across my shoulders grab a purse and off I go. Travelin light…can’t wait for spring.
Nice blog! Looking forward to reading more
Why thank you!
