Happy Tuesday guys! How is your week going?
I keep going for pretty pastel make up looks at the moment with pink and purple eyeshadows (hello spring?! I’m waiting!).
I also tried my hand at valentines nails… With a heart. I was impressed that I managed to smear in a vaugely heart shape, but they make me feel a bit like an eleven year old girl.

Love the heart on your forefinger…a preview of things to come. Love the flats…have never met one I didn’t like. It might interest you that as I write I’m eating cookies for breakfast, I went out for a lavish dinner last evening and couldn’t bear to leave them behind…dipping them in coffee…ho hum.

Well…first we went to The Carlyle where we had overpriced Kir Royales that were topnotch…then we tooled across the street to The Mark Hotel where I started with crispy sushi which is raw fish on rice that’s been toasted. It’s really good. Then I had grilled salmon with a lemon sauce on the side with cooked, fat, snow peas that I wish I had now. They were amazing. All drowned with too much white wine that I still feel a bit. Dessert were profiteroles that well…I don’t have to tell you, were sinful and a cookie plate with tollhouse cookies fresh from ze ovon. I’m still full but…those cookies called my name…sigh
Wow, that sounds spectacular. I would have taken the cookies too. Well done!
