I made these for breakfast yesterday morning after the new year guilt made me feel like I perhaps shouldn’t be making pancakes using all white flour – so I used half wholemeal and half white. The pancakes were still delicious and you could only slightly tell the difference. The all-white flour pancakes I’ve made in the past were certainly lighter and fluffier but I wouldn’t say the difference is particularly noticeable.

Sorry about the blurry picture – I was clearly too interested in eating my pancakes to take a good one!
