Greetings blog readers! Welcome to the first day of sunny, dreamy June! I love June, it’s my birthday month and it’s generally a happy, sunshiney, lovely month.
This June also marks the silver jubilee of the Queen! Here are some lovely pictures to get you into the mood!
Lovely!
To celebrate, throughout June I’ll be bringing you a Best of British festival, starring much-loved traditional British recipes from around these green isles.
I’ll be bringing you recipes for classic scones, coffee and walnut cake, Victoria sponge (and baby Victoria sponges), and fairy cakes! Of course thats only a fraction of all the amazing British sweet treats out there, such as rice pudding, bakewell tart, flapjacks, shortbread.
What do you think of as stereotypically British foods?

You should sell your pictures to a travel magazine. You always make me want to go too and I never want to go anywhere. Enjoy.
