Mother’s Day is Sunday 10th March in the UK – coincidentally it’s also my blogs second birthday! In the US and Canada, it falls later on May 12th so if you’re a north American blog reader, here are some ideas for later.
– Cakes and sweet things –
Mother’s Day definitely calls for a cake! Lemon is a definite favourite of most Mum’s I know, so here are a few ideas …
This is a SHOWSTOPPER of a cake – just so gorgeously spring like with the teal and yellow – I love it! If you were intimidated by the idea of making macarons AND a cake (um, yes!), you could just leave the macarons off.
Yum. Simple, zesty and fresh. Delightful!
You simply can’t beat a good old-fashioned lemon loaf!
I’ve never met a mum who didn’t like maltesers. Have you? Do they exist?
And a few ideas from my own blog!
– Cute cards –
These are all very sweet – I especially like the look on the mum rabbits face in the first one!
– Perfect presents –
A few thoughtful gift ideas… I love the names in the frame, beautiful. And what Mum doesn’t deserve champagne?
Do you have something good up your sleeve for Mother’s Day – any tips or ideas to share?
